BiblioChip Label

A BiblioChip label is a self-adhesive label in which a flat aluminum or copper aerial, a chip and a memory are integrated. The surface can be printed individually or by Bibliotheca. The labels are characterized by their flexible, thin yet very robust materials properties.

They are based on international standards (ISO 15693, ISO 18000-3, CE, FCC). What is more, the “Danish data model” is supported - a model which has become established in the library field. The chips can be rewritten up to 100,000 times, so media data can be easily updated without having to change the labels.

There are two types of labels for the differing media types:

  • The BiblioChip Book/Video Label is a label for books, magazines, media packages and audiovisual media (MCs, videos, etc.) in credit card format.
  • The BiblioChip CD RingLabel is especially suitable for CDs and DVDs and can be extended with a BiblioChip CD SecureLabel to provide a Complete Solution.
